If you are frustrated with your deer hunting it is time to make a change. I changed from an average frustrated hunter to a completely fulfilled hunter and land manager who kills quality bucks every year on my small property. IF I CAN DO IT, ANYBODY CAN!

How can I make this work on 500 archers.
Not sure what you mean?
He will need alot of Land for 500 archer’s.
How will this work on 19acres with one small feild?
19 acres is more than enough to work with but the smaller the property the more impact from neighboring properties so results will depend on having an appropriate plan based on the way your property relates to neighboring properties and food sources.
Thank you. My plan is to work with the neighbors to help expand on what they have to benefit both of us.
Hi Jim,
I just wanted to let you know how great I think your book is , it is the best $20.00 I have ever spent. It is so packed with great information & illustrations that really help someone like me 🙂 It is rare these days to really feel like something is a bargain, but this book really is one of those finds. Keep up the great work !!!

Do you ever hinge cut any pine trees? If so will they continue to live if hinged correctly?
Thanks for all the information. It is much appreciated!
Pine trees seldom survive hinge cutting but we do it anyway if they have lots of lower branches. The idea is to keep the trunk hung on the stump to help provide horizontal cover. Even if they don’t survive they provide immediate cover and cover that lasts for years, plus they protect new stuff growing up among their branches from being browsed. Pine trees with long straight trunks should be cut conventionally with a back cut because they are prone to barber chair.
Jim, do you recommend cutting out all the dead ash on the property before I do any other habitat improvement. Also I have alot of mature Poplars on my property. Should I cut them down to open up the canopy or hinge cut them?
In most cases getting rid of ash trees before they fall on their own is a good idea because you are controlling how and where they fall rather than them falling randomly across trails onto stands, onto bedding spots. As far as the poplar goes, as main theme of the book is that you cannot make any decision about what to do, whether to hinge cut, etc., without having an overarching plan that defines what you are trying to accomplish with each thing you do.
Great video!!!!….my husband frequently going for hunting and most of he was successful. I don’t with him usually. But the last time we both were going to hunt. And we had a bad day with one deer. From that incident, i had an opinion that hunting a deer is so difficult. Now, by your video you proved that my opinion is wrong. Thank you..Mr.jim. This video will make my husband even more confident in his hunting.
Jim,
Do you have any advice on a 30 acre parcel in mid Michigan that is mostly jack pine? Some scrub oak, and lots of fern.
Also what would it take to have you out for a consultation?
I have not received the ebook I purchased.
